Inside

• Style: A very classically elegant 19^th century period country villa which has been tastefully restored and decorated to provide the perfect country house party venue in France.
• Bedrooms: The first-floor bedooms consist of a king-size circular bed with large en-suite shower room; a king-size bed with roll-top bath; a king-size bed with large bath and a super king-size bedroom with large bathroom suite.
• For relaxation: Sink into the comfortable sofas in front of a roaring fire in the drawing-room during the winter months, or create culinary delights in the light-filled kitchen enjoying the summer breeze and a view of the stunning gardens through the French doors.
• For recreation: Make the most of the indoor swimming pool and outside games room, including large plasma TV, DVD, table tennis and playstation 2.

Outside

The entire villa and spacious Mediterranean courtyard garden is bordered by is own walls, gates and outbuildings hence enjoying great privacy. There is a shaded dining terrace with table and chairs, a large barbecue area, large glass fronted barn opens from the garden and houses the 8 x 4 metres indoor pool. On top of the barn and pool is a superb roof terrace with further plants , table and chairs and great views toward the village church and beyond. In addition to the pool there is an outside games room, including large plasma TV, DVD, table tennis and playstation 2.

Food and wine

• DIY: The villa is available on a self-catered basis, including the services of a Housekeeper. On the ground floor there is a large, open-plan kitchen/ living/ dining room filled with period furniture painted in soft whites, dish washer, washing machine, period stone-sink, fridge-freezer microwave. Ideal for enthusiastic chefs, the kitchen houses a very large lacanche cooker and extensive top-of-the-range cooking equipments
• In-house cuisine: A cook is available on request.
• Eating out: there are several café/bar restaurants to choose from in Olonzac

• Lac de jouarres is only two minutes away for swimming, boating, fishing and windsurfing
• Hire a boat on the Canal du Midi and stop at any one of many water-side restaurants for lunch.
• For breathtaking walks, the village of Minerve is only 15 mins away,
• Gruissan, Narbonne Plage, and neighbouring resort of St. Piere Sur Mer are only 30 mins to 40 mins away. Whether you're looking for a child-friendly or secluded beach, there's plenty to choose from.
• Visit the medieval skyline of Carcassone, which is just a 30-minute drive.
• Spend a day wine tasting at Corbieres, stopping at beautiful unspoilt villages like Lagrasse, en route.
